for horse riding, hiking and cycling. Mainly Golf benefits a lot from our hilly and wooded ladscape. Climbers in search of an adrenaline
rush can scale the Sottens tower, highest point on the Vaud plateau.
Assent to National Transmitter Sottens (Sottens)
The easily accessible viewpoint of this historic landmark is situated at 900 m above sea level. Gecko Escalade will guide you to the top of the historic 125 m high antenna.
Broye Ponies (Curtilles)
In addition to courses leading to an equestrian certificate, the pony club of the Curtilles horse stable also offers horse jumping courses, rides and various workshops as well as camps and treks during school holidays. In addition, they offer exciting activities to try out for small kids.
CPRP - Motorcycle Training Centre (Moudon)
The CPRP offers professional training on all aspects of driving off-road motorcycles, from the bike to the equipment, practice on its 5000 m2 of indoor and outdoor tracks included.
Fitness Trails (Moudon, Lucens, Mézières, Oron)
The four regional fitness trails, classified as medium to difficult, stretch over an area of 10 km. Their 60 exercise points overcome an altitude of 240 metres, which corresponds to an effort of 12.4 km.
Gecko Climbing (Sottens)
Some 1000 m2 of vertical climbs, a blocking room and a children’s wall are the attractions of this indoor climbing centre for all friends of this sport. In addition to a number of courses and outside activities, Gecko organises a vertiginous climb to the top of the Sottens antenna.
Grand-Pré Swimming Pool (Moudon)
The swimming pool on the banks of river Broye offers three pools, a long water slide and a playground. Its setting, outside the city centre in a tranquil and green area close to public transport, is ideal for recreation.
L’Ochette Swimming Pool (Moudon)
This indoor swimming pool, located within a school campus, is open to the public outside school hours. Aqua gym, aqua-cycling and swimming lessons.
La Perraire Horse Farm (Cremin)
The Perraire horse farm is open all year round for horseback and pony riding with family, friends or alone through the green and gently sloping countryside. An interesting feature is its former barn which has been turned into a workshop-art gallery.
Lawn Minigolf (Cremin)
Combining the simple rules of minigolf, golf holes and the clubs of swingolf, this unusual outdoor game is played on 2 courses with a total of 27 holes, in a beautiful setting with a magnificent view of the Pre-Alps.
Mountain Bike Trail with Obstacles (Cremin)
No less than 13 obstacles line this 5.7 km trail through forest and meadow. The individual posts with their three levels of difficulty have been tested and rated by mountain bike champion Georges Luthi.
20 minutes are sufficient to master the rules of this companionable sport. A single club, a soft ball and a natural lawn are all you need to share a game of swin-golf with your family or friends.
Tennis Sports Centre (Granges-près-Marnand)
With two squash, two badminton and three indoor tennis courts, this centre welcomes both members and guest players. Cloakrooms, showers and parking are free of charge.
Vuissens Golf Club (Vuissens)
The famous golf architect Jeremy Pern designed the golf court in a little valley next to the 13th century chateau Vuissens. The charming 18-hole course on 52 hectares of land is bordered by forests, offers various ponds and a natural stream.
