Pioneer women's walk

This walk invites you to discover the women who have shaped the history and politics of the town of Moudon through a quiz in their honour. This interactive walk will allow you to learn more about these pioneering women and to (re)discover the town, all in a fun way.

The walk and the game are accessible to everyone, including families (with or without pushchair), as well as people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs.

The year 2021 marked the 50th anniversary of the introduction of women's right to vote and stand for election in Switzerland. This is why we are proposing a quiz that will allow you to learn more about the emblematic female figures of the town of Moudon by honouring them.
This walk also allows you to (re)discover the town. During your walk, you will discover the richness of Moudon's built heritage, in particular the church of St. Stephen, the Bernese House and the Grenette. In addition, you will also enjoy walking along the Broye and through the Ville-Haute where you have the chance to cross the charming Rue du Bourg or to enjoy a panoramic view of the town.

On the map, you will find questions that allow you to earn points along the way as well as points of interest. The latter are important: between each question, these points of interest allow you to collect clues to help you answer the next question. You can find all the details on how to participate in the quiz under the "Game rules" icon.

Test your knowledge and collect as many points as possible during this interactive walk.
